MARLIX is a Wollongong based company that designs and manufactures custom contemporary furniture and joinery. Managing Director and fourth generation cabinetmaker Joe Cachia founded the business in 2007 and leads a small team of dedicated craftsmen to produce quality pieces for both private and commercial clientele. We handcraft custom furniture to suit the needs of your space, working closely with architects, interior designers and homeowners.


The core of our work is with solid timber and timber veneers. A combination of traditional and modern woodworking techniques are used to transform these materials into pieces that will become heirlooms.
